The Woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been before…Albert Einstein

72 Days

Dear Josh-

Ah and so we are into July. And now into the second half of the year. I will be honest with you, some days it is a real challenge to dig for the faith to take another forward step on this path, part of it, really is the knowledge that when it happens, I am going to be floored for a bit….oh heck whose kidding here, for me….it will literally be the world is the limit and I am going to turn around and ask each person I know of, what can I do to help you achieve your dream…I will be dancing with joy, bubbling everywhere and it will take me a bit to come down…

Don’t get me wrong, it is not that I do not support people and their dreams. If they are running a GoFundMe, I always contribute something. I cannot ask the Universe to support my dream if I am not so willing and open to help others. It does not seem fair or just to me AND truth be known it is somewhat of an accountability and responsibility thing to me as well. Truth is, I have done small and it was a disservice to me and everyone around me. Now I reach deeply into my full potential and in doing so, I hope I help those around me do the same.

So the quote I chose for today, pretty much is me to a T. I have gotten comfortable there. I see things differently. I used to be afraid to show and share that. This week though, some things have changed for me and well I not just admit it, I am going to own it. It does not mean I am a nut case, it means I dream big. My all time favorite quote is that of Marianne Williamson’s that goes like this:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” A Return to Love

So I started dreaming big. Getting this Gig will be one of the biggest things I have accomplished to date and again, truth. Once done I cannot wait to see how I challenge myself next. I am so positive this is going to happen that I already have my meeting gift for you….I was taught you always bring something to a meeting….

A friend of mine, an absolutely brilliant friend owns a small distillery here in College Station called Rio Brazos Distillery. He makes the best Whiskey. I read somewhere it was your go to beverage. It is mine as well. Bit of a snob here for me. I much prefer the small batch distilleries. Anyway Nathan made a batch of Amber Whiskey. It is called BoxCar. I bought a bottle out of Batch 1 and had it signed and dated as a gift for you. The date? 12.13.14. It seemed like an auspicious kind of day…note the date sequencing and that was 7 almost 8 months ago? Yup still taking one step forward every day.
