Dear Josh-

So you have started the rounds of interviews and personal promotion of the Stages Album and the Album went certified Gold in Canada that is just awesome and I bet you are feeling proud that your desire to create this particular album feels somewhat justified by the numbers and the reception both here in the United States, Canada and Europe.

Stop #2

Date: September 14

Theatre: DAR Constitution Hall, Washington DC

Seating: 3702 people

Trivia Facts about DAR Constitution Hall

  • In 1929, the Daughters of the American Revolution dedicated this building as a memorial to the Constitution. DAR Constitution Hall is the only structure erected in tribute to the Constitution of the United States of America.
  • DAR Constitution Hall is the largest concert hall in Washington, D.C.
  • According to General Director Placido Domingo (Washington Opera), hosting the opera at DAR Constitution Hall “created a unique sense of intimacy and made the audience feel especially involved in the performance.”

The Hall layout for the concert patrons is considerably different than Cobb Energy in Atlanta. To my way of thinking allows a much wider spectrum of angles for concert images as well. The stage is definitely different, though I suspect the “paneling” can be moved to accommodate various sound stage setups as required by whichever artist is performing…can’t see a rock musician performing on that stage setup…..a little laugh here. Again I can see where zoom lens/telephoto lens would come in handy. No flash needed as the camera I have goes to 26000 ISO but dependent on the light may not need to go that high. The higher your ISO the grainier the image and if the seats stay the same I can wander the aisle during the first couple of songs on the floor and get what I need down there. If the sound line is the same, I can spend the rest of the concert there and still get great images.

*PS-Dear Reader- The only favor I ask is that you follow the story, Share if you are so inclined. Know that I am following dreams as you do.
